Shiraz is an ancient city in central Iran which produces a very warm and comfortable series of rugs. The designs are very simple and geometric, yet the design themes seem more sophisticated than primitive. Along with geometric motifs, often featuring huge diamond-shaped medallions, small animals or plants can also be seen in parts of the field. Colors include brown, rust, beige, with navy or black outlines

DEWI RATIH (Goddess of Beauty)
He had been born in an earlier lifetime as a woman named Amba, who was rejected by Bhisma for marriage. Feeling deeply humiliated and wanting revenge, Amba carried out great prayers and penance with the desire to be the cause of Bhisma s death. Amba was then reborn as Srikandi (Shikandini). From her birth, a divine voice told her father to raise her as a son. So Srikandi was raised like a man, trained in warfere and eventually married. On her wedding night, her wife insulted her on finding out the truth. Contemplating suicide, she fled Pancala, but saved by a Yaksha who exchanged his sex with her. Srikandi came back a man and had a happy married life with his wife and had children too. After his death, his masculinity was transferred to the Yakhsa.
